Where is our coffee from?

Our coffee comes from the highlands of Costa Rica, specifically the Zona Brunca. The mountains of San Gerónimo, Pérez Zeledón provide us with nature’s catuaí delights at 1600 meters above sea level. The perfect maturation of these arabica beans is reached all throughout the months of December, January, and February, when they reach their ideal density and flavors.

How do we process it?

Once this coffee is hand-picked by the workers at the plantation, it is guided through a meticulous selection process. In big piles of water, the floating beans are separated for other purposes. Then, they undergo the drying process where they reach the desired honey tonalities of fruity sweetness. For about two to three weeks, the beans are carefully supervised and handled until the humidity of the bean reaches a 10.5 moisture percent.

Final steps before being at your front door…

The coffee is imported to the United States of America, where it is roasted. There, our roaster who shares our same passion and vision for coffee, transforms it into the aromas and flavors that you taste in your cup every morning. We are currently only located in Dallas, but be on the look out for new locations soon!
